This one-of-a-kind necklace is simply sublime. 

I love designing clasps that integrate and become an element of adornment AND function.

Here, the clasp function,  is a screw.
Fabricated, cut with a tap and die, the Sterling Silver crew is hidden within the metal cubes.

Within the graduated strand of faceted Chocolate moonstone, the clasp is intended to be worn to the front with a slight off set to one side.

Blending form and function, integrating the closure as a focal point, has long been a detail you will see in my work. The Chocolate Moonstone beads are irregular in cut.
Each one is a small wonder of nature in color and inclusions.

A layer of patina gives the necklace THE well loved, completely carefree look. Over time this necklace will get a bit more shiny and show off the subtle textures.

The necklace measures 20" long.
