Shipping:
Items in stock are available for immediate shipping. Delivery of items not in stock, take 2-6 weeks.
For domestic orders I use mainly USPS Priority mail with proper insurance for the value of the item(s) for shipments in the US.
The shipping charges are added to your order. Items that are in stock ship from one to five days from the day of purchase.
Usually Priority mail takes two to five days to deliver in the US. However, I would like to advise customers that delivery
of my Online Store orders could be delayed due to precautions being taken during the COVID 19 pandemic.
Once your order has been shipped, I e-mail you the tracking information.
If you have special shipping needs or would like to use an existing UPS or FedEx account,
we can arrange that too.
Cancellations:
If you decide to cancel the order after it has been confirmed and payment has been processed, I will gladly refund you
the purchase amount, but you will still be responsible for the processing fee ( 3.5% in the US, 4% for international orders.)
Please be aware that BIRGIT KUPKE-PEYLA does not keep the processing fee. It is a service fee, collected by the online payment processor,
on all orders whether canceled or not.
Refunds and Exchanges:
All sales are final. I do my best to accurately depict and describe the item(s) in the shop and ask that you keep in mind
that all items are made by hand and retain unique variations. Arrange for a video chat, if you want to see more details.
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, merchandise in its original sale condition may be exchanged for other existing pieces
within seven days from receipt of the item.
Do not worry about giving a gift of jewelry!
If you are giving the jewelry as a gift and need a longer time period pre-arrange it with me.
Buyers are responsible for the cost of processing fees and insured return shipping.

International Orders :
International orders are shipped via UPS Worldwide Expedited to maintain tracking information. They may take much longer to arrive.
International buyers are responsible for duty, fees, or taxes incurred upon receipt.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes:
Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the U.S. may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied
by the destination country ("Import Fees"). The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import fees,
which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient.
I have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country.
Contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required,
it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
